About the Event
The Martin K. Shea Memorial Charity Golf Tournament brings our community together for a day of golf, connection, and purpose—all in support of OAKC – Together We Tee.
In partnership with Manchester Country Club and the Town of Manchester, this event helps introduce Black and Brown youth and their families to the game of golf—creating opportunities for family bonding, character development, and lifelong skills.
Every swing, every sponsor, and every participant helps us continue building a more inclusive and accessible future for the game.

In Memory of Martin “Marty” K. Shea
This tournament is held in loving memory of Martin K. Shea, a founding force behind OAKC – Together We Tee.
Alongside Peter Harris, Marty helped bring this vision to life—creating opportunities for young people and families in our community to experience the game of golf in a more inclusive and meaningful way.
Marty was deeply connected to the Manchester community and widely beloved by all who knew him. His passion for people, his generosity, and his belief in the power of community continue to shape everything we do.
While we lost Marty last year, his impact lives on through this program, the families it serves, and the community he helped build.
This event is more than a tournament—it’s a celebration of Marty’s life, his legacy, and the lasting difference he made.
